I love using Essential Oils in my personal Yoga Practise/Meditation practise as well as when I run classes. It’s such a wonderful complement to any Yoga or Pilates Practice. They can help deepen the practise, particularly during meditation. I love how they can make you feel grounded, but also uplifted, helping you have more of a joyful practise and also assist us in the digestive poses.
My favourite way is to set an intention before doing the meditation practise either sitting or whilst lying in Shavasana.
Here is one of my favourite blend recipes and it’s so easy to make. All you need is a roller bottle, some organic fractionated coconut oil or some other carrier oil of your choice and of course some of the amazing Young Living’s Essential Oils. - Organise fractionated coconut oil or a carrier oil of your choice
- 15 drops of Frankincense
- 10 drops of Lavender
- 10 drops of Sacred Mountain
Start filling the roller bottle with essential oils and then top it up with the carrier oil.
Keep it with you next time you practise Yoga or Pilates. When it’s time to relax apply this blend to you’re temples, third eye, wrists or back of the neck.
